Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, 83, was recently seen showcasing his signature dance moves in a crowded club on the island of Mustique. Jagger shared a video of the outing on Instagram, captioning it, "enjoying the summer, hope you are too." The clip shows the rocker dancing with his arms in the air to the Rolling Stones' latest track, "Mr Charm," while a disco ball hangs overhead.
Mistakenly or intentionally, attendees at the club appeared to be unaware of the rock legend in their midst.
Jagger's son, Lucas, 27, engaged in some lighthearted online teasing in the comments section of the post. He encouraged fans to "Stream 'mr charm' please," and at another point quipped that his father's band "need the streams." Later, Lucas summarized his reaction with a simple "Lmaoooo."
This is not the first time Lucas has playfully commented on his father's social media content. In June, Lucas jokingly criticized his father's choice of a baker boy cap in photos from a trip to Italy, demanding in the comments, "The hat on slide 8 needs to be removed from ur wardrobe."
In 2024, Lucas also commented on a video of Jagger dancing, writing, "Dadda WHO PUT U UP TO THis 2024."
Jagger himself has spoken about the challenges of aging in a recent interview with The New York Times. "There's nothing good about it. Nothing. You don't get wisdom. You forget everything. Forgot all my wisdom," he stated. "It's not particularly pleasant and, of course, you can't do things as quickly as you want to, and physically you can't do things that you would like to do. You can still do them, but you have to be more careful."
He also reflected on how his enduring fame has impacted his daily life, noting that he actively seeks ways to stay grounded. "Obviously, it's not normal. It is not like most people's lives. It does affect you. You can become disassociated. From other people," Jagger said. To counter this, he added, "you go out and walk on the street on your own and do normal things."
