Keegan shared photos of the evening on Instagram, including a snapshot with Wright, 39, who wore an all-black outfit. She captioned the post, "The festivities have begun, and I'm over the moon about it!"
In recent interviews, Keegan has spoken about the challenges of being a working mother. She admitted that accepting a role in the ITV crime drama The Blame before the birth of her daughter, Palma, who is now 18 months old, meant she "went in blinded." She described the experience of balancing long filming days, learning lines, and caring for her baby as "really hard" and "exhausting," despite having the support of her husband and families.
Keegan also noted that Palma, who was one and a half years old, was already walking and running, adding to the demands of her schedule. She previously pulled out of a major ITV drama to prioritize her family, telling hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary that juggling filming and motherhood was difficult but that she and co-star Douglas Booth got through it.
