Michelle Keegan was recently seen filming the upcoming Harlan Coben drama "The Woods," an adaptation of the author's novel. The actress was photographed on set on Tuesday, appearing in a pared-back, casual look while working alongside co-star Tom Bateman. Keegan wore a striped waistcoat-style top with straight-leg jeans and loafers, and was seen carrying a large water cup amid warm weather conditions.
Keegan's role in "The Woods" follows her acclaimed performance in the 2024 Netflix series "Fool Me Once," also based on a Coben novel. In "The Woods," Keegan plays Lucy Silverfield, who reunites with her first love, Paul Copeland, to investigate a decades-old disappearance.
The synopsis for "The Woods" describes the story of Paul Copeland, who as a child had his family torn apart when his sister vanished from a summer camp. Twenty years later, when a body is discovered that is linked to the original disappearance, Copeland begins to search for answers, suspecting his sister might have survived.
Keegan recently spoke about returning to work after welcoming her first child, daughter Palma, in March 2025 with husband Mark Wright. She described the experience as "daunting" but noted the production team was "supportive."
Harlan Coben, who serves as executive producer, has called "The Woods" one of his most personal novels, drawing on his own experience working as a counselor at a sleepaway camp at a young age.
