Machine Gun Kelly says his daughter Saga Blade looks exactly like Megan Fox, a sentiment the rapper shared as he discusses ongoing co-parenting after Fox welcomed their first child together in March.

In an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show that aired Friday, MGK told host Jennifer Hudson that their baby girl flips between resembling him and Fox, saying, “We go back and forth on who she looks like. Last month, she looked exactly like me and now she looks exactly like her.” He also called Fox a phenomenal mom and praised the former couple’s partnership in raising Saga.

The couple welcomed Saga on March 27, 2025, marking Fox’s first child with MGK after their split in November 2024. MGK posted on social media at the time, writing, “She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 3/27/25,” alongside a black-and-white video of Saga’s tiny hand gripping his finger. Since Saga’s birth, the two have been navigating co-parenting, with Fox living with Saga and MGK stopping by several nights a week to help.

MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, also shared playback of his life as a father on Today With Jenna and Friends, recounting a moment when someone complimented him for being a good dad—and Fox reportedly grew “fuming” at the attention directed at him. He insisted the focus should stay on Fox and her work as a parent, saying, “I just play the guitar and hope and pray that the baby is happy. I want to detract any congrats to me, and just move it to Megan. Because she really does all the work.”

The new father’s comments come as Fox and MGK are expected to continue co-parenting their newborn amid ongoing public interest and speculation about their romantic future. A May Us Weekly source noted Fox believes MGK has stepped up as a dad but suggested there was no indication the pair would rekindle their romance. The insider emphasized Fox’s focus remains on motherhood and Saga’s well-being while recognizing MGK’s support.

Alongside his parenting duties, MGK released his seventh studio album, Lost Americana, on August 8. The project includes tracks such as Vampire Diaries and Miss Sunshine, and it coincides with his touring schedule. He is set to officially kick off the Lost Americana Tour later this year, starting November 15 in Orlando, with a October 1 date in Los Angeles, and stops planned across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, culminating July 1, 2026 in Washington.

MGK has previously spoken about the pressures of public scrutiny and how he copes with online hate, telling People that the “hate” has become a cultural trope and that he no longer lets it affect him. He said he views entertainment as a form of escape rather than a target for lasting judgment, a stance that reflects his broader approach to both his career and his personal life as Saga’s father.

Saga Blade’s arrival and the unfolding co-parenting arrangement come as Fox and MGK work to balance their high-profile lives with parenting responsibilities. The family timeline continues to evolve, and both parents have indicated their commitment to providing a stable environment for Saga while navigating the scrutiny that accompanies fame in culture and entertainment.
