Melissa George, the 49-year-old actress known for her roles in "Home and Away" and "Mulholland Drive," has secretly welcomed her fourth child. She announced the news on Sunday via a joint Instagram post with former Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Kirstie Clements.
The baby's name and the father's identity have not yet been revealed. The initial Instagram post included a photo of George breastfeeding her newborn son, alongside images from her travels in the French Riviera. Clements' caption indicated that George traveled to Paris shortly after leaving the maternity ward, embarking on a road trip through Provence and the Côte d’Azur.
Colleagues and fans congratulated George on the announcement. Photographer Julia Kovaljova called her a "Beautiful mother of 4," while fans expressed their delight and curiosity.
This marks George's fourth son. She welcomed her third son, Lyor, at age 47. In January 2024, she had announced her third pregnancy, later revealing the birth of a baby boy in March 2024 with a black and white photo of the infant's feet. At the time, she wrote, "Love knows no end. A mother of 3 sons. Cannot believe it. My heart is so full."
George shares her two eldest sons, Raphaël, 12, and Solal, 11, with her ex-partner, French entrepreneur Jean-David Blanc. Due to a custody arrangement, these children require their father's consent to leave France with their mother, which has led George to be based in Paris.
George, who was previously married to Chilean furniture designer Claudio Dabed from 2000 to 2011, has maintained a private personal life, not disclosing her current relationship status or the fathers of her two youngest sons.
