Melanie Hamrick, girlfriend of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, celebrated his 83rd birthday on Monday by sharing a collection of photos on Instagram. The images depicted the couple in various moments, including a beach snapshot, a cozy moment on a sofa, and a trip to Egypt with their son, Deveraux.
Hamrick, a retired ballerina, posted a birthday message to Jagger, writing, "Happy Birthday my love !!!❤️ To more adventures, laughs and fun!!" The photos also included their son Deveraux, nine, pictured in front of a pyramid in Egypt. Another image showed Jagger relaxing with a coconut and a cowboy hat, overlooking the ocean.
The couple, who have been together since 2014, became engaged two or three years ago, according to Hamrick's earlier revelation. They share a son, Deveraux Octavian Basil, born in 2016, who was Hamrick's first child and Jagger's eighth. Jagger also has seven other children from previous relationships.
Addressing their age difference, Hamrick stated in a September 2024 interview that she does not focus on it. She met Jagger in February 2014 when both the Rolling Stones and the American Ballet Theatre were touring in Japan. Their relationship began in June of that year.
Jagger recently made a surprise appearance at The Half Moon pub in Oxfordshire, where he performed for a small crowd. He also joined the Rolling Stones in releasing a new album, Foreign Tongues, scheduled for July. The band has not toured together since 2024.
