Spice Girls singer Melanie Chisholm, also known as Sporty Spice, married model Chris Dingwall in a countryside ceremony on Saturday. The wedding took place at the Country House Cumbria in the Lake District.

Fellow Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, and Melanie Brown were reportedly present for the event. Chisholm's 17-year-old daughter, Scarlett, served as her bridesmaid.

Chisholm reportedly wore a full-length white, backless gown designed by Victoria Beckham, formerly Posh Spice. The dress was a gift from Beckham, who was unable to attend the ceremony due to prior commitments at the World Cup in the US. An insider stated that Beckham found it her “great pleasure” to create the dress for her former bandmate and expressed sadness at her absence.

Sources described the weekend ceremony as "perfect," despite an unusual interruption by a herd of cows approaching the venue during the vows. Chisholm and Dingwall aimed for an "understated" and "classy" wedding, differing from her previous stated preference against large, formal ceremonies. The outdoor setting was noted as an "intimate" and beautiful location for the couple.

Chisholm, 52, and Dingwall, who is in his 40s, reportedly met in 2023 on the dating app Raya. Chisholm has previously described Dingwall as "wonderful" and "uber supportive."
