Megan Fox directly addressed an internet user who deemed her recent lingerie photos "embarrassing." The actress, 40, shared a screenshot of the critical comment on Instagram, responding with a question of her own: "which one of my exes wrote this."
The comment, posted on a photo of Fox in a gothic black lingerie set, read, "This s–t is so unbelievably embarrassing for a 40 year old mom to be posting. 16 year old tumblr s–t."
Fox has increased her presence on Instagram since returning to the app in March after a year-long hiatus. Her posts have included various modeling shots, often featuring intimate apparel.
In a post prior to the one that drew the critical comment, Fox shared a collection of images in a sheer mesh bandeau bra, matching lace thong, and a black mesh shawl. She captioned this set with a quote about disobedience: "Men would have them believe disobedience was eves vice, when it was her greatest virtue."
Her earlier return to the platform featured a black short-sleeved corset top, matching thong, thigh-high socks, platform heeled sandals, and a spiked collar necklace. She captioned those photos, "everything is more beautiful because we are doomed."
