Maya Jama embraced the "mobland life" at the London afterparty for the second season of Guy Ritchie's Netflix series, "The Gentlemen." The premiere celebration took place at the Guildhall Art Gallery on Wednesday, where Jama, in her first major acting role, mingled with the show's ensemble cast.

Jama, 32, wore a custom leather gown by R&M leathers, styled by Rhea Francois. At the party, she was seen enthusiastically using a punching bag. Co-star Kaya Scodelario, who plays Susie Glass, also attended, dressed in a custom Paolo Sebastian corset gown.

"The Gentlemen" series two continues the story of Eddie Horniman, played by Theo James, who inherited his father's estate and discovered an underground cannabis empire. The series, which premiered in 2024, is based on the 2019 film of the same name. In the new season, Jama portrays Aisha, the glamorous girlfriend of one of Eddie's criminal associates. Her character is seen in the series trailer wielding a shotgun while dressed in traditional attire.

Other cast members present included Vinnie Jones, who plays Geoffrey Seacombe, and his girlfriend Emma Ford. Jones, a footballer-turned-actor, was seen in a brown checked suit and Baker Boy cap, while Ford wore an embellished floral minidress. The couple met in 2022 and debuted their relationship in 2024. Ray Winstone, who reprises his role as mob boss Bobby, was also in attendance, as was his daughter Jaime Winstone.

Giancarlo Esposito, Theo James, and Alexis Rodney were also among the guests. Boxing activities were part of the entertainment at the party, with fighters sparring throughout the night and Esposito seen donning boxing gloves.

Scodelario shared that she had messaged Jama before her acting debut to offer advice. "I just said, 'Hey, babe, heads up! This is going to not be what you expect. Be ready to be on your toes and trust the process,'" Scodelario told Grazia. She added that she wanted to support Jama, acknowledging the potential intimidation of starting a new career path, especially coming from a working-class background.

"The Gentlemen" achieved significant success on Netflix in 2024, garnering 44 million views in its first four weeks. Series two is now available for streaming.
