Maura Higgins debuted a new hairstyle, a curly bob, and a daring black halterneck gown with a thigh-high split while attending the Spotify Beach concert series at the 73rd Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on Wednesday. This appearance in Cannes followed a visit to the UK for Royal Ascot and comes as Higgins continues to build her career in the United States.

Higgins, 35, has been actively expanding her presence in the U.S. over the past few months. She recently announced her participation in the upcoming series of "Dancing With The Stars." Her career trajectory since her appearance on Love Island UK season five in 2019 has seen a significant shift towards American television and media. She has been a social media presenter for Love Island USA and guest-hosted a challenge for its fifth season in 2023. The same year, she became a social media presenter for Love Island Games, and in 2024, she took on the role of host for Love Island: Aftersun.

Her efforts to establish a career in the U.S. are further evidenced by her signing with the public relations agency Align last year, which specializes in career growth within the American market. Higgins also recently signed with the major U.S. talent agency Creative Artists Agency, an agency that represents prominent figures such as Lady Gaga.

Earlier in June, it was reported that Higgins had been replaced as a host on Love Island USA's Aftersun, reportedly due to scheduling conflicts. However, she continued her involvement with the franchise, later being named the host of Love Island Games's new Aftersun segment, a role she secured after impressing producers on the main show.
