Isabella Damon, daughter of actor Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso, has signed a contract with IMG Models, a prominent modeling agency. The 20-year-old began studying at New York University two years after completing high school.
This career move comes as New York Fashion Week is set to begin next month, with suggestions that Isabella could potentially make her runway debut during the event. She is one of four daughters Damon and Barroso have together: Alexia, 27; Gia, 17; and Stella, 15.
Damon, 55, and Barroso, 50, met in 2003 and married in December 2005. The actor recently promoted his film "The Odyssey," which has surpassed $1 billion at the box office. He stars as Odysseus in the adaptation of Homer's epic poem.
In a July interview with People, Damon spoke about his family life, emphasizing the non-negotiable rule of having family dinner every night. He acknowledged that the family sometimes struggles to remain present during these meals, noting a realization that they could become lost in routine without appreciating the purpose of the tradition. Damon described this as a form of 'family mindfulness' they are working on.
As two of their daughters are now out of the house, Damon and Barroso are approaching the status of empty nesters. Damon stated that they are facing this transition and trying to be present in the moment, recognizing that the only way to do so is to fully engage with the experience.
