Martha Stewart Launches New Lip Treatment Focused on Longevity

Martha Stewart, a prominent lifestyle figure, has introduced a new lip treatment, Elemental Lip Serum, under her skincare brand Elm Biosciences. The $45 product is designed to offer "longevity" for the lips, targeting concerns such as volume loss, dryness, and fine lines before they become prominent.

Stewart partnered with her long-time dermatologist, Dhaval Bhanusali, to develop the product. The Elm Biosciences brand, which launched a year ago, initially offered a daily skin supplement and an antioxidant serum, later adding a night cream. Stewart stated that the genesis of Elm Biosciences stemmed from custom topical formulations her dermatologist created for her.

"We wanted it to be a community, a place where people could talk to each other and actually get real answers," Stewart said regarding the brand's mission. She expressed a desire to create a product that was accessible, unlike the custom treatments she had initially used.

The new Elemental Lip Serum aims to provide lasting benefits beyond temporary fixes. It is formulated with peptides and antioxidants, and the brand claims it offers enhanced absorption for improved staying power. Stewart noted that the serum is intended to make lips appear "fuller, smoother, healthier."

Stewart has described the serum as being available in three subtle shades: "Petal," "Mocha," and "Blush," in addition to a clear option. She emphasized the product's role in improving the appearance of lips over time, stating, "I wanted a product that felt beautiful enough to wear every single day while genuinely improving the way lips looked."

In addition to her skincare ventures, Stewart was recently named the face of Lancôme's La Vie Est Belle Very Cherry eau de parfum. She also expressed excitement for her makeup artist, Daisy Toye, who is participating in the reboot of Bravo's "Real Housewives of New York."
