Married At First Sight UK has revealed the full cast for its tenth series, confirming a diverse line-up of contestants and the return of its expert panel as the show prepares to air later this month.
Series veterans Paul C. Brunson, Melanie Schilling and Charlene Douglas will reprise their roles as relationship experts, overseeing couples who will marry upon first meeting in the programme that launched on British television in 2015. Producers said an official broadcast date will be confirmed within the next fortnight.
The cast includes a mix of ages, backgrounds and family situations. Among the women are Neelima, a 30-year-old cosmetic dentist from Manchester who has been single for a year and is described by producers as "outspoken, confident and warm"; Anita, 54, a divorced operations manager from Durham and grandmother who is seeking a "silver fox"; and Rebecca, 32, an aesthetics nurse and clinic owner who went through a broken engagement and runs her own business.
Also joining the series are Julia-Ruth, 29, a professional dancer from New Zealand who was adopted at 16 and has previously appeared on reality dating television; Leah, 35, a business owner from Liverpool who describes herself as light-hearted and family oriented; Maeve, a 29-year-old aesthetics practitioner and mother; and Grace, 31, a midwife in mental health services from Norwich who said she has struggled to find a suitable partner after a string of situationships.
Other female contestants include Leigh, a 30-year-old NHS clinical coder from Romford who dislikes dating apps and was previously engaged; and Sarah, 31, a recruitment professional from Aberdeen who said she wants to find happiness after losing her mother.
Male participants range from a 33-year-old cabin crew member, Davide, who lived in Paris from a young age and is seeking a future husband, to Joe, 31, a Huddersfield personal trainer who says he has shifted his priorities after years of travel and partying. Steven, 34, an investment banking manager and father of two from Essex, has focused on career and family and is now open to a new relationship.
Other men in the line-up include Ashley, 35, an operations director and father-of-one from Bridgend who enjoys outdoor pursuits; Keye, 33, a southwest London marketing professional on a post-divorce search for something serious; Dean, 31, a team-building host and self-described hopeless romantic whose past work roles include entertainer and cruise ship host; Paul, 60, a retired father of three who has dated little since a 2011 divorce; Bailey, 36, a sales manager and father who runs a microbrewery in Brighton; and Divarni, 29, a London musician and father described as charismatic but unlucky in love.
Producers characterised this year's cast as "eclectic" and suggested the variety of ages, professions and family situations will create a range of relationship dynamics. The show's format pairs participants in marriages arranged by the experts, who then monitor their early interactions, challenges and decisions about whether to remain together.
Married At First Sight UK has become a regular fixture of British reality television since its debut, known for its high-stakes premise and the involvement of professional matchmakers. The return of Brunson, Schilling and Douglas continues the established format of expert-led matches and relationship coaching.
The series' exact premiere date is expected to be announced soon. Network and production representatives did not provide further scheduling details beyond a planned launch later this month.
