Marisa Abela and Jamie Bogyo were married in an Old-Hollywood inspired ceremony at Firle Place in East Sussex, the couple and guests confirmed in accounts of the weekend. Abela, 28, who played Amy Winehouse in the biopic Back to Black, wore two Emilia Wickstead gowns and was accompanied by a roster of celebrity friends and Industry co-stars during the celebrations.

Abela's main dress drew on Audrey Hepburn-era styling: an off-the-shoulder Emilia Wickstead gown with a sculpted, drop-waist silhouette and a nine-foot veil. She paired the look with custom Jimmy Choo Max 150 heels engraved with the couple's initials. For the evening reception she changed into an ivory Emilia Wickstead Micheline gown. Bogyo, 31, wore a custom double-breasted tuxedo by Dunhill with black-and-white detailing.

Guests at the ceremony included Kit Harington, who plays her on-screen husband in Industry, and Twisters actor Kiernan Shipka. Abela's Industry co-star Myha'la served as a bridesmaid. The couple began the public part of their celebrations with a shower of confetti and a procession past guests in a white open-top car after saying "I do."

The ceremony incorporated a number of personal touches. Abela walked down the aisle to the theme from Cinema Paradiso, the film she and Bogyo watched together early in their relationship, and the couple wrote their own vows. Bogyo's best man, Nate Janis, officiated the service, and readings were delivered by both fathers. Drama school friends Liadán Dunlea and Iwan Davis performed a rendition of "May You Never" by John Martyn.

The couple told British Vogue that they had completed a legal ceremony at Islington Town Hall the week before with just their parents in attendance, which allowed the event at Firle Place to be "totally unique to us, a real celebration of who we are as people and what we mean to one another." Abela described the celebration as "the greatest moment of our lives" and said the ceremony left them "completely overwhelmed."

Ahead of the wedding day, Abela set the tone for the weekend at a rehearsal dinner in a custom dress by The Own Studio and a Noel Stewart hat. After the ceremony, guests were taken to Soho House Brighton for an intimate dinner and a night of dancing.

The couple announced their engagement in July. Photographs shared at the time showed Bogyo proposing on Primrose Hill, a location associated with Amy Winehouse, a nod observers noted given Abela's role in Back to Black. The engagement post included images of Abela showing the couple's engagement ring and celebrating with friends and family.

Representatives for Abela and Bogyo did not immediately provide a public statement. The wedding was reported from accounts and images provided by attendees and published in coverage of the event.
