Margot Robbie was photographed arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Friday accompanied by her younger brother, Cameron, marking a rare public outing for the actor.
The 35-year-old Barbie star led the pair through the terminal while Cameron, 30, trailed a step behind. Robbie wore a navy New York Yankees cap, a green overshirt, a black crop top, jeans and heavy boots, carrying a large black purse. Cameron wore a backward black hat, gray hoodie, black shorts and checked sneakers and carried a backpack.
Cameron Robbie has acted in films including I.C.U. (2009), Gifted (2015) and Bliss (2019), and most recently appeared in the 2023 film Romance at the Vineyard. Margot Robbie is one of four children; her other brother, Lachlan, works as a stunt performer, and her sister Anya is a senior accountant. The siblings were raised in Dalby, Queensland.
Robbie rose to prominence in Australia on the soap opera Neighbours before relocating from Melbourne to pursue work in the United States in the early 2010s. She and her British husband, Tom, whom she met while working on the 2013 period film Suite Francaise, formed a close professional partnership with several housemates during an early London house share. That group later established the production company LuckyChap Entertainment.
The couple married in a private ceremony in Byron Bay in December 2016 and have a child together. According to earlier interviews, Robbie and Tom kept their early relationship private while living with housemates and only later acknowledged the romance. She recalled in a 2018 interview with Elle that their friends' discovery of the relationship "was dramatic" and that for a time "s**t hit the fan." The housemates went on to collaborate professionally; LuckyChap produced the Academy Award-winning I, Tonya, Promising Young Woman and the 2023 blockbuster Barbie.
Robbie and her husband left the shared house for a home in West London before relocating to Los Angeles in 2017. They have said they work closely together; in a 2024 interview at the Critics Choice Awards she described her husband as someone who "likes being behind the camera, he's not fazed by any of this stuff," adding, "I am so lucky. He likes being behind the camera, he's not fazed by any of this stuff, he's just the best. It's so fun. I love the word 'normie.'"
Despite her high public profile, Robbie and her husband generally keep their private life out of the spotlight. The airport sighting on Friday offered a brief glimpse of the actor with family while she continues to balance her career as a performer and producer.
