Margot Robbie has arrived in Sydney for the highly anticipated Chanel Cruise/Resort runway collection presentation, marking a significant fashion event for Australia. The Australian actress was seen at Sydney Airport, preparing for the exclusive showcase.
Robbie, who has been a Chanel ambassador since March 2018, adopted an Audrey Hepburn-inspired look for her arrival. She wore black capri trousers and a crew-neck top, accessorized with Chanel sunglasses, a blue paisley-print headscarf, black ballet flats, and hoop earrings. Her ensemble was completed with a black leather Chanel bag, and she accentuated her features with burgundy lipstick and matching nail polish.
The event represents Chanel's first-ever Australian runway show and is expected to be one of the most prominent fashion gatherings in Sydney in recent years. The brand will present its Chanel Cruise/Resort 2026–27 collection.
Chanel rarely hosts its international runway presentations in Australia, making this Sydney event particularly noteworthy. The brand has scheduled private VIP events and the main runway show for Thursday, with two presentations planned for the day. While the collection is the same as that initially unveiled in Biarritz, Chanel has indicated a local touch will be incorporated for the Australian event.
Several other notable figures are expected to attend, including Nicole Kidman and her daughter Faith, and Jacob Elordi, who is the face of Bleu de Chanel. Kylie Minogue, who has appeared in recent brand campaigns, is also anticipated to be present. The full guest list has not yet been released.
Robbie's long-standing relationship with Chanel began with her appointment as a brand ambassador. She has since featured in campaigns for various Chanel products, including the Coco Neige collection, Gabrielle fragrance, J12 watch, and Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick. In September 2024, she became the new face of the Chanel N°5 perfume, succeeding Marion Cotillard, and starred in a short film for the fragrance directed by Luca Guadagnino. She also fronted the 2026 Chanel 25 handbag campaign, which recreated Kylie Minogue's music video for "Come Into My World."
