Margaret Qualley, newly single, appeared in good spirits at the Thursday premiere of "The Dog Stars" in London, marking her first red carpet event since her July split from Jack Antonoff. The actress, 31, walked the red carpet barefoot in a black tasselled gown and conspicuously did not wear her wedding ring.

She was joined at the Odeon Leicester Square by her co-star Jacob Elordi, 29, who stars as the lead Hig in the sci-fi action film. Elordi arrived in a navy pinstriped suit and opted for sunglasses.

"The Dog Stars," which has a reported budget of $110 million, is set to be released in U.S. and U.K. theaters on August 28. The film's synopsis describes a post-apocalyptic world where a virus has decimated humanity, leaving survivors to contend with roaming scavengers. Elordi's character, Hig, is a pilot who survived the virus but lost his wife.

Qualley, who portrays Cima in the movie, confirmed her breakup with musician Jack Antonoff on July 10. Her representative stated that "no infidelity" or "trust issues" contributed to the end of their nearly three-year marriage. The pair had not been publicly photographed together since the Grammy Awards in February.

Qualley had previously altered her Instagram handle to revert to her legal name, Sarah Margaret Qualley, and deleted wedding photos from her social media. Her past relationships include links to actors Nat Wolff, Pete Davidson, and Shia LaBeouf. Antonoff has reportedly been linked to photographer Carlotta Kohl, Lena Dunham, and Scarlett Johansson.

Other notable attendees at the premiere included Kimberley Garner, who wore a striking embellished corset dress, and pregnant model Nadine Leopold, who sported a black tasselled gown. Actor Guy Pearce and musician Brian May were also present.
