A 51-year-old Connecticut man fell to his death from an upper deck of Madison Square Garden during a concert on Saturday night, New York City police reported.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 9:51 p.m. and found the man, identified as Paul Kueker of Niantic, Connecticut, unconscious and unresponsive with injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position. Police stated he was in Section 300 and that foul play is not suspected. The man was with his wife at the time of the incident and was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The rock band Goose was performing at the venue. In a statement, the band expressed that they were "reeling" from the tragedy. Goose played a concert in Central Park on Sunday evening, announcing that all proceeds from the show would be directed toward a charitable fund established to support and provide resources for their fans. The band stated that their decision to proceed with the Sunday concert was to "bring our community together, lean on one another, and offer a space for healing."
