A 51-year-old Connecticut man died Saturday night after falling from an upper deck at Madison Square Garden during a concert. Police identified the man as Paul Kueker of Niantic, Connecticut. Officers were called to the venue around 9:51 p.m. and found Kueker unconscious with injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position. Police stated he was in Section 300 but did not specify the distance of the fall. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities are not suspecting foul play in the incident. Kueker was reportedly attending the concert with his wife. The rock band Goose was performing at the time. In a statement, the band expressed that they were "reeling" from the tragedy. Goose is scheduled to play a concert Sunday evening in Central Park, with all proceeds directed toward a charitable fund designed to offer support and resources to their fans. The band stated that their decision to perform was to "bring our community together, lean on one another, and offer a space for healing," and encouraged kindness and remembrance for Kueker during the show.
