Maisie Williams drew style inspiration from her "Practical Magic 2" co-star Sandra Bullock for the film's world premiere in London. Williams, 29, opted for a custom Ellie Misner gown in a striking red hue, mirroring Bullock's own red carpet ensemble from the 1999 premiere of her movie "Forces of Nature."

The custom dress featured a corset-style top and a satin skirt, closely referencing the boat neck top and silky skirt Bullock wore 25 years ago. Williams accessorized her look with a Roger Vivier satin clutch and a diamond and ruby choker.

Bullock, 62, who has previously described her 1999 red carpet moment as being part of a "goth period," shared a photo of the side-by-side looks on Instagram, expressing her delight. "My heart just exploded," she wrote.

In "Practical Magic 2," Williams and Joey King, 27, play the daughters of Bullock's character, Sally. King portrays Kylie, while Williams steps into the role of Antonia Owens. Bullock reprises her role as Sally, with Nicole Kidman, 59, returning as Gillian. The sequel is set 25 years after the original 1998 film and is based on Alice Hoffman's 2021 novel, "The Book of Magic."

The original film featured Evan Rachel Wood and Alexandra Artrip as the younger daughters. While Wood, who was 11 at the time, expressed interest in returning, the decision was made to recast the roles for the sequel. Artrip, who played younger Antonia in the first movie, has since left acting.

The plot of "Practical Magic 2" sees the Owens women uniting to travel from Massachusetts to the United Kingdom to confront a magical threat and protect the next generation. Bullock and Kidman also serve as executive producers on the film.

The original "Practical Magic" garnered $68.3 million globally, falling short of its $75 million budget. Despite its initial box office performance, the film achieved cult classic status.

"Practical Magic 2" is scheduled for release in cinemas on September 11.
