Maggie McGraw, the middle daughter of country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, is engaged to her boyfriend, James Rubin. The announcement was shared earlier this week by Maggie's older sister, Gracie McGraw, on Instagram.
Gracie McGraw detailed the proposal, stating that it occurred over the summer and was "filled with flowers and family." She also mentioned that she and her younger sister, Audrey McGraw, played a small role in the planning.
"It’s an honor to have been a small part of the process of getting things set up and perfect for our Mags," Gracie wrote, sharing a photo of Maggie displaying her engagement ring. "Thank you @jamesrubin170 for making my sister the happiest lady in all the land."
Maggie McGraw, 28, graduated from Stanford University in 2021 with a master's degree in sustainability and science practice. Her father, Tim McGraw, expressed pride in her academic achievements and her commitment to making the world a better place in a social media post at the time.
In 2023, Maggie spoke at the UN General Assembly about climate change, emphasizing the importance of ocean health for daily life and advocating for timely climate action. According to her LinkedIn profile, she currently works as an intelligence analyst for Major League Baseball (MLB).
Earlier this month, Gracie McGraw shared her own health journey on social media, discussing her experience with Ozempic and its impact on her eating disorder and body image. She stated that while the medication helped manage her polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) symptoms, it also exacerbated her eating disorder. Maggie is the first of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's three daughters to become engaged.
