Married At First Sight groom Sam Stanton made his first public appearance with his new boyfriend, Ilia, on Saturday night. The couple was seen together at a birthday party for Daily Mail reporter Ali Daher, held at Dry Martini in Sydney.
Stanton, a 34-year-old fitness professional from Adelaide, appeared in good spirits alongside his Sydney-based project manager partner. Stanton wore a patterned white dress shirt with black trousers, while Ilia was also dressed casually. The pair posed for photos, with Stanton wrapping an arm around Ilia.
The couple mingled with other guests at the event, which featured an oyster bar, a martini bar, canapés, and various beverages. Other reality television personalities in attendance included former MAFS stars Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James, as well as Rebecca Zukowski.
Stanton was also seen reconnecting with former MAFS co-star Bec Zacharia at the party. The two shared a warm embrace and were observed laughing together, appearing to have moved past their experiences on the show. The celebration continued into the early hours of Sunday morning at Pelicano.
