Madison Square Garden is set to host two events related to the upcoming wedding of pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, according to sources familiar with the plans.

The first event, scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m., is expected to accommodate approximately 100 guests. A second, larger event will commence Friday afternoon with a cocktail hour at 4 p.m. and is slated to continue until 4 a.m. on Saturday, with an estimated 1,000 attendees.

Sources indicated that both events will enforce a strict no-phone policy for all individuals present, including guests, vendors, and security personnel. This measure aims to ensure privacy surrounding the celebrations.

To facilitate the events and manage guest and staff arrivals and departures, permits have been secured to close portions of West 31st Street and West 33rd Street to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Tents and canopies will be erected along these streets to obscure views of the venue's entrances and exits. Seventh and Eighth Avenues are expected to remain open.

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August of the previous year, following speculation about their relationship that began in the fall of 2023. While there have been recent reports suggesting the couple might marry around the Fourth of July holiday, neither Swift nor Kelce have publicly confirmed any specific details about their wedding plans.
