Macaulay Culkin Announces Australian Tour for 'Home Alone' Screenings

Macaulay Culkin is scheduled to visit Australia later this year for special screenings of his iconic 1990 film, 'Home Alone.' The tour, named 'Home Alone: A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin,' will celebrate the beloved holiday movie.

Culkin, who rose to global fame playing the mischievous Kevin McCallister, will tour three Australian cities in November. The tour commences at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on November 24, followed by Melbourne's Regent Theatre on November 27, and Sydney's Enmore Theatre on November 29.

At each event, the film will be screened before Culkin participates in a live moderated interview with the audience. The 46-year-old actor starred in the original film alongside Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, Catherine O'Hara, and the late John Heard and John Candy. 'Home Alone' was a significant box office success, cementing Culkin's status as one of the most prominent child actors of the 1990s.

For fans seeking a more immersive experience, VIP Meet and Greet Packages are available, offering the chance to meet Culkin and take a photograph with him. These VIP packages are priced starting at $399, while general admission tickets range from $106 to $179, depending on seating selection.

The events are open to all ages. Ticket presales are scheduled to begin on Monday, September 21 at 11 a.m., with the general public sale commencing on Wednesday, September 23 at 11 a.m.

Following his breakout role in 'Home Alone,' Culkin reprised his character in 'Home Alone 2: Lost in New York' in 1992. His other notable roles during his child stardom include 'My Girl' and 'The Good Son.' After starring in 'Richie Rich' in 1994, Culkin stepped away from acting for nearly a decade before returning to television with a guest appearance on 'Will & Grace.'
