Love Island stars Molly Smith and Tom Clare's wedding celebrations in Mallorca took an unexpected turn when police were called on the second day of their festivities.
The couple, who won the 2024 All-Stars version of the reality series, married over the weekend in a lavish ceremony. Following their vows, the party continued with friends and fellow Love Island contestants at the Suculenta Port de Sóller restaurant.
According to reports, local yacht crew at the harbor became irritated by the festivities and contacted the Guardia Civil. Images and videos shared on social media show the bride, Molly Smith, 32, carrying a tray of shots and participating in group activities, including jumping into the sea with guests.
Molly appeared unfazed by the police presence, with social media posts capturing her cheerful engagement with the celebrations. Best man Casey O'Gorman was also prominently featured, seen stripping down to Speedos and engaging with the festivities, including reportedly jumping into the port, which is a forbidden area.
While police intervened, the wedding party continued to document their celebration, with guests seen drinking and dancing. The day before the reported police involvement, the group celebrated with a saxophonist and later moved to the swanky Wellies Restaurant in Puerto Portals for a more low-key event the day after the wedding.
In interviews prior to the wedding, Smith and Clare, 26, admitted to experiencing some stress during the final preparations. They described dealing with last-minute invoices and guest inquiries, with Smith noting that Clare's stress manifested in cleaning. Their legal wedding ceremony concluded with dinner at The Ivy, which reportedly involved dancing on tables and a guest ending up on the floor.
