Former Love Island contestants Molly Smith, 32, and Tom Clare, 26, were married over the weekend in Mallorca, Spain. The ceremony took place at the clifftop venue Son Marroig, following a civil ceremony in the UK in July. A number of their Love Island co-stars were in attendance to celebrate the occasion.

Among the guests were Casey O'Gorman, who served as best man, Mitch Taylor and his girlfriend, and Sophie Piper with her partner Joshua Ritchie. Social media snippets from the event showed guests, including O'Gorman, dancing late into the night.

Meanwhile, Anton Danyluk, another Love Island acquaintance, announced he had declined the wedding invitation. Danyluk explained on Instagram that he chose not to attend due to concerns about his relationship with alcohol. He stated that while he was invited earlier in the year, he had recently decided to stop drinking and felt his attendance might be problematic. He later clarified that his issue was not with drinking itself, but with knowing when to stop, and that he now drinks moderately on social occasions. Danyluk expressed regret at missing the wedding but wished the couple well. His explanation drew mixed reactions online, with some followers criticizing his statement and others expressing support for his personal health choices.

One notable incident prior to the wedding involved Casey O'Gorman nearly missing the ceremony. O'Gorman recounted on Instagram that EasyJet oversold his flight to Mallorca, initially preventing him from boarding. He described the frustrating process of waiting at the gate in hopes of a seat becoming available. The airline eventually offered compensation to passengers willing to give up their seats, and a teacher named Harri ultimately surrendered her spot, allowing O'Gorman to travel.

Smith and Clare, who met during Love Island: All Stars, had previously shared that wedding preparations had presented some stressful moments. They described their legal ceremony in the UK as intimate, with a celebratory dinner at The Ivy that became unexpectedly lively, involving guests dancing on tables and O'Gorman ending up on the floor.
