Temperatures are set to soar in the Love Island villa as the male contestants participate in the Heart Rate challenge. The seven male islanders, dressed as builders, bikers, and businessmen, perform seductive routines for the girls, with their heart rates being monitored throughout.
The challenge, known for sparking tension and jealousy, lived up to its reputation. Tommy, dressed as a waiter, performed a gesture involving a shot glass for Jasmine, which was witnessed by a disbelieving Kavan from the terrace above. Later, Kavan confronted Tommy about the incident, asking, "What was that with Jas, by the way?"
Meanwhile, Aidan performed for Yasmin, whispering, "This ain't over yet, baby."
Following the boys' performances, the results were revealed. One contestant expressed surprise at his result, stating, "No way… sorry, but no way." Another contestant agreed, saying, "I didn't even do anything to him."
Aidan then announced which boys had managed to raise the girls' heart rates the most, with one boy dominating the results, leading to celebrations from his fellow islanders. However, the mood shifted when it was revealed that one boy's heart rate was significantly elevated by a former flame rather than his current partner, leaving the group in silence.
Despite the drama, one couple shared a kiss upon discovering they had successfully spiked each other's heart rates the most.
Following the challenge, Kavan and Jasmine debriefed. Kavan expressed frustration about Tommy's actions, calling it "a bit mad." Jasmine, in disbelief, responded, "I feel like I'm being pranked right now." The conversation ended with Kavan questioning their relationship, suggesting, "Maybe this just doesn't work… Maybe I'm too young, too immature, and can't handle your calibre of woman."
The following evening, the islanders were summoned to the fire pit where Yasmin received a text announcing that the public had been voting for their favorite girl and boy. Those with the fewest votes would be at risk of being dumped from the island, leaving vulnerable contestants to await their fate.
Love Island continues on ITV and ITVX at 9 p.m.
