Love Island Australia has welcomed its first baby, as season five winners Tyra Johannes and Kale Roberts announced the birth of their son, Colton Quinn Roberts. The couple, who found love on the show in 2023, shared the news on Instagram, posting images of their newborn.
Johannes, 26, and Roberts, 25, welcomed their son on September 5, according to social media posts. "We are so in love with you," the couple wrote in their announcement.
The official Love Island Australia Instagram account congratulated the new parents, stating, "Congrats from everyone at the Love Island team! We love you Colton!"
The couple had previously announced they were expecting, sharing an Instagram post earlier in the year that read, "In September we welcome the next chapter of our lives." They also posted a video of themselves running through a field at sunset.
Johannes and Roberts emerged as the winners of the fifth season of Love Island Australia in 2023. Following their win, they have continued their relationship, getting matching tattoos, adopting a puppy, and now starting a family. During their time on the show, Johannes described Roberts as "everything I could ever ask for in a partner and more," calling him "the most kind and considerate man I've ever met."
