Catherine Richards and Jake Singleton-Hill, stars of Love Is Blind UK, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Clara-Jane.
Richards announced the birth on August 19 via an Instagram post, sharing the news with their followers. "Everything and more, a day to remember," she captioned the announcement.
The couple met on the 2024 season of the Netflix reality dating series. Richards, a dental nurse from Jersey, initially pursued a connection with Freddie Powell on the show, and they became engaged without meeting. However, after their planned wedding, Richards began dating Singleton-Hill, who had also been a participant in the show's pods but was not selected for the retreat. \n
Richards explained in a previous statement that after her connection with Powell ended, she reached out to Singleton-Hill on social media. They spoke for five hours on FaceTime the evening she contacted him and continued to talk daily for five weeks. Richards and Singleton-Hill later went public with their relationship in 2024, sharing videos on TikTok about their year-long romance, which included moving in together and getting a dog.
Powell, Richards's former fiancé, learned about her relationship with Singleton-Hill shortly after their breakup. He told the Daily Mail that while he wouldn't personally choose to date someone from the same reality show, he wished Richards happiness as long as she and Singleton-Hill were content.
