Lori Loughlin has returned to Instagram seven years after she last posted on the platform, coinciding with the college admissions scandal that led to her federal prison sentence.

Loughlin, 62, shared a video Monday captioned, "Wake up, San Francisco! I’m back on IG 💕." The phrase is a nod to her character Rebecca Donaldson's catchphrase from the sitcom "Full House." The video featured several of her "Fuller House" co-stars, including John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, and Andrea Barber, each repeating the signature line to begin the clip.

Loughlin's character on "Full House" used the catchphrase "Welcome back, Becky" when she returned to her newscasting job. In the video, Loughlin recreated this moment, introducing herself as Rebecca Donaldson and welcoming herself back to the show, referencing a scene where her character returned from maternity leave.

The video also paid tribute to the late Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner on "Full House." A throwback clip of Saget delivering his character's introduction was included, followed by Loughlin's present-day return.

Loughlin played Rebecca Donaldson on "Full House" from 1987 to 1995 and reprised the role for guest appearances on the Netflix revival "Fuller House." She did not appear in the fifth season of "Fuller House" in 2020, the same year she and her then-husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud. They were accused of paying $500,000 to secure their daughters' admission to the University of Southern California.

Loughlin was sentenced to two months in federal prison and was released in December 2020. Since her release, she has returned to television, appearing in roles on "When Calls the Heart" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" in 2022. She has since separated from Giannulli.
