A video circulating online shows attendees at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago passing a bag filled with urine through the crowd. The clip, which gained significant traction on social media, depicts festival-goers holding up a cardboard box containing a plastic urine sack.
Commenters on platforms like Instagram expressed strong disapproval, with many calling the act unsanitary and repulsive. Some speculated the intention was to avoid leaving the viewing area to use restrooms during performances. One Instagram user described the act as "diabolical," while others lamented the behavior as detrimental to the festival experience.
The incident at Lollapalooza, which took place in Grant Park, is not isolated. Reports from other music events and concerts highlight similar concerning behavior. One attendee at Lollapalooza reported witnessing someone defecate on the ground near a stage.
Musicians have also spoken out about fans engaging in unsanitary practices during concerts. Noah Kahan, in a post on X, urged concertgoers to use venue restrooms if they need to defecate, acknowledging that such incidents create difficult situations for venue staff.
Separately, a concertgoer at a Morgan Wallen performance in Baltimore accused another man of urinating on his family. The accuser stated that he felt urine splash his legs and observed the individual exposing himself.
