Lizzo, the four-time Grammy winner, appeared at the Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, drawing attention for a noticeably slimmer silhouette as she walked the red carpet in a skintight pink rhinestone gown.
The 37-year-old musician styled the sleeveless dress with a cream-toned fur shawl and heels and wore flaming red Old Hollywood curls and full-glam makeup. After speaking briefly with reporters, she entered the event, which was livestreamed on Netflix.
Lizzo has credited discipline and changes to her eating habits for what she described as a dramatic slimdown, but she has also acknowledged trying semaglutide and other GLP‑1 drugs. On the Just Trish podcast in June, she said, "I've tried everything," adding, "It's just the science, for me, calories in vs. calories out. Ozempic works because you eat less food." She told the podcast that the drugs "make you feel full," and said that achieving the same result through willpower alone would amount to "mind-over-matter."
The singer said she shifted away from what she called a "junk food vegan" diet — which she said had included between 3,000 and 5,000 calories a day — toward a more structured regimen focused on whole foods, including beef, chicken and fish. "For me, when I actually started eating whole foods and eating like beef and chicken and fish, I was actually full and not expanding my stomach by putting a lot of like fake things in there that wasn't actually filling me up," she said.
The bout drew a number of high-profile attendees. Oscar winner Charlize Theron posed on the red carpet in skinny black leather slacks and pointy booties paired with a low-cut bodysuit and fitted blazer. Actress Sofia Vergara attended in a black dress with a lace bodice. Charlie Sheen, who recently released a documentary on Netflix, appeared in a casual outfit with a baseball cap and sneakers.
Other celebrities at Allegiant Stadium included Brenda Song, who arrived in mini shorts and a black leather jacket and was later spotted inside the arena with her fiancé, Macaulay Culkin. The couple, who have been together since 2017, are parents to two children, Dakota, 4, and Carson, 3. Josh Duhamel, Tracy Morgan, Mark Wahlberg and Saturday Night Live cast member Michael Che were also among the attendees; Che's presence came amid ongoing cast changes at the long-running sketch show.
The appearance followed another high-profile outing for Lizzo earlier in the week, when she turned heads in a sheer look on the Christian Siriano Spring/Summer 2026 runway during New York Fashion Week. Her fashion choices and public comments about weight-loss methods have continued to attract media attention as conversations about GLP‑1 drugs and celebrity health choices have intensified.
Lizzo has previously framed her weight loss as the result of hard work and lifestyle changes while acknowledging that medical treatments played a role. She has discussed the topic publicly in interviews and on podcasts, contributing to a broader discussion about appetite-suppressing medications and the various approaches public figures use to manage health and appearance.
