Australian actress Lisa McCune recently made a public appearance in Perth, showcasing a natural look at 55 while preparing for her role in the stage production of "Steel Magnolias." McCune, known for her breakout role as Constable Maggie Doyle in the police drama "Blue Heelers" from 1994 to 2004, was photographed stepping out of His Majesty's Theatre.

The actress opted for a casual ensemble, including a white long-sleeved top, a striped cardigan, a red suede skirt, and Converse sneakers. She carried a coffee cup and a crossbody bag.

The 55-year-old went makeup-free for the outing, with her youthful visage on full display

McCune, who was a prominent figure in Australian television during the late 1990s and early 2000s, has maintained a lower profile in recent years. This shift followed media attention in 2012 regarding photos of her with New Zealand opera singer Teddy Tahu Rhodes, her co-star in a stage musical. At the time, McCune was reportedly married to Tim Disney, with whom she has three children.

In a previous interview with Stellar magazine, McCune explained her decision to step back from public life, stating that her personal narrative could impact her children during their teenage years. She expressed a desire to protect their stories until they are more independent.

McCune married Tim Disney in 2000, and they have three sons: Archer, 25; Oliver, 23; and Remy, 21. However, in 2025, she revealed in an interview on "The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show" that she is currently single. She described a close friendship with Rhodes, calling him her dearest friend with whom she speaks daily.

McCune attributed her busy lifestyle as a factor in not pursuing a serious romantic relationship, emphasizing her contentment with her current life, friendships, and family. She also recently participated in reality television, winning "Dancing With The Stars Australia" in 2024.
