Singer Lionel Richie has been hospitalized as a precautionary measure, according to a source close to his tour. Richie performed over the weekend at The Muny's annual summer finale concert in St. Louis.

Concertgoers reportedly observed Richie appearing to struggle toward the end of the show on Saturday. Videos shared online showed the artist performing his final song, "All Night Long," while seated.

This is not the first recent instance of Richie experiencing discomfort onstage. In June, he reported dizziness during the opening night of his tour with Earth, Wind & Fire in Minnesota, which led to him performing seated for that show as well.

Following the June incident, Richie postponed two concerts—one in Columbus, Ohio, and another in Chicago—after medical advice to "rest and return to full health." He resumed his tour on June 30 in Pittsburgh.

Richie addressed fan concerns on Instagram on July 4, expressing gratitude for their support. "Thank you for every message, every kind word, and for all your love," he wrote. "I'm doing well, and I'm grateful for all of you."

He is scheduled to continue his tour and has upcoming performances at the Wynn in Las Vegas in October and November for his "King of Hearts" shows.
