Lindsay Lohan reunited with her father, Michael Lohan, for her 40th birthday celebration in the Hamptons. The event, held at Le Bilboquet restaurant in Sag Harbor, New York, was documented on social media.
Lohan was seen with her father in an Instagram Stories post shared by a friend. The celebration also included her mother, Dina Lohan, and siblings Ali, Dakota, and Michael Jr. Her husband, Bader Shammas, was also in attendance. Lohan, who resides in Dubai with Shammas and their son, reflected on her life's journey during the event.
In a personal note shared with followers on Instagram around her birthday, Lohan reflected on her past, acknowledging the 'mistakes' and 'lessons' learned. She expressed gratitude for the people who have supported her and described her thirties as a period where "things start clicking."
"Grateful for every chapter that brought me here. For the lessons, the laughter, the love, the unexpected turns, and the people who've stood beside me through it all," she wrote. "This next decade feels different. More grounded. More intentional. More joyful."
Lohan also shared insights into her perspective on aging and life milestones, noting that turning 35 felt like another "wake-up call moment." She emphasized the value of time, stating, "That time is precious, and sometimes we forget time goes by so quickly that we should really enjoy every moment to its fullest."
She credited her husband, Bader Shammas, with teaching her the importance of preparedness and managing expectations to avoid disappointment. "You have to be prepared for other things, so you don't get disappointed. If this doesn't go that way, then it's okay," Lohan recounted.
Professionally, Lohan has seen a resurgence in her career, starring in two recent Christmas movies and is slated to appear in a "Freaky Friday" sequel. She is also currently filming the movie "Count My Lies" alongside Shailene Woodley.
