Fans of actress Lily Collins expressed their displeasure on social media after a video circulated showing her being bumped by Kering CEO Luca de Meo during Paris Fashion Week. The incident occurred as de Meo was taking his seat next to Collins at the Balenciaga Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026/2027 presentation.
Collins, 37, was seated alongside actor Hudson Williams when de Meo, a high-powered executive in the fashion industry, reportedly jostled her while sitting down. A short clip posted to X, formerly Twitter, captured the moment, with some viewers interpreting it as a lack of spatial awareness from de Meo.
"Spatial awareness is dead. People really just shove like nobody else exists around them," one user commented. Another wrote, "who just shoulder checked lily collins [crying emoji]."
Despite the online reaction, the source notes that there appeared to be no lingering issue between Collins and de Meo, as they were later seen smiling together for a photograph. Collins herself has not publicly commented on the incident.
Collins attended the event in a black mini dress with long leather sleeves and matching heels, her hair styled in a middle part. Her husband, Charlie McDowell, who had accompanied her to Paris, was not present at the fashion show.
The actress is currently filming the sixth and final season of her Netflix series, "Emily in Paris." She announced the upcoming conclusion of the show earlier this year, stating that the final season would serve as "the final chapter in Emily's adventure of a lifetime." Production for the season is taking place in Mykonos, Greece, with subsequent filming planned in Monaco and a return to Paris.
