Lily Allen has shared a series of behind-the-scenes photographs from her West End Girl Tour, offering fans a glimpse into her performances and downtime. The singer, 41, posted the images to Instagram, including a snap of herself in a lace co-ord ensemble while relaxing in a park during a recent heatwave. The collection also featured a video of her receiving flowers on stage and a TikTok clip backstage in a nude PVC corset.
Allen captioned the collection of photos with, 'The garbage trash w***e lingerie party,' summarizing her tour experience. She has been performing a variety of striking outfits during the tour, which showcases her hit album of the same name.
The tour's return for a new run of performances follows shortly after comments made by her ex-husband, David Harbour. Harbour, speaking to Variety, described Allen's album, which chronicles the breakdown of their relationship, as 'weird.'
While respecting Allen's artistic process, Harbour stated, 'I do believe that it is the privilege of every artist to use their experience to create art, and so I respect her for doing that. I can’t really say that much more, because it’s my private life.' He emphasized that while he values his privacy, he also respects the privacy of those he interacts with, adding, 'Stories are complex, and that’s why I say I respect her creation of art to channel her experience. It wasn’t my experience.'
Allen has previously noted that her 14-track album, written in 10 days in December, is a 'mixture of fact and fiction,' advising fans not to interpret the lyrics as literal truth.
Notable songs on the album include 'Madeline,' where Allen appears to accuse Harbour of a three-year affair with a costume designer and suggests the couple had an open sexual arrangement. Another track, 'Tennis,' uses the sport as a metaphor for sex, with lyrics questioning infidelity and jealousy. The song concludes with repeated inquiries about 'Madeline.'
Lily Allen and David Harbour met on the dating app Raya and married in Las Vegas in 2020. They legally separated in early 2025 after four years of marriage, with divorce proceedings commencing shortly thereafter. The album 'West End Girl' explores the emotional aftermath of their split. Prior to her marriage to Harbour, Allen was married to Sam Cooper from 2011 until their divorce in 2018.
