Lila Moss, 22, arrived at W Magazine’s New York Fashion Week party on Thursday in a tailored red blazer left partly open to reveal a glimpse of her toned midriff, just hours after appearing on the red carpet in Barcelona.

Moss paired the plunging jacket, which featured a statement bow, with high-waisted jeans and patent black heels. She carried a small brown leather handbag, wore her long blonde hair loose in waves and opted for natural makeup as she posed for photographers at the star-studded event.

The outing followed a Desigual photocall in Barcelona the day before, where Moss attended alongside Paris Jackson. At that appearance Moss wore a chocolate-brown maxi dress with spaghetti straps, a V-neckline, a cut-out panel at the bust and asymmetric hem detailing with an ombré finish. Jackson, 27, who also attended the New York party, arrived in a plunging floral shirt dress with long sleeves and a draped side detail; she completed her look with brown knee-high boots, a small beige handbag and turquoise statement earrings.

Moss has previously spoken publicly about living with type 1 diabetes and recently fronted a campaign tied to Barbie’s introduction of a doll designed with the condition. The toy manufacturer said the doll includes a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump so more children could see themselves reflected in its dolls.

In an appearance on Vogue’s "In the Bag" YouTube channel, Moss described the diabetes supplies she carries routinely. "I have some sugar tablets, in case my blood sugar goes low. I'm diabetic, so I have this, which controls a pod on my leg, which gives me insulin," she said. She added that she keeps an Apple AirTag with her supplies to avoid losing the device. In a 2020 interview with The Kit, Moss said she believed many people did not know she had diabetes because it is not visible from the outside.

Type 1 diabetes occurs when the pancreas produces little or no insulin, a hormone that controls blood glucose, and requires daily management, including insulin delivery systems or injections to keep blood glucose levels under control.

Moss, the daughter of model Kate Moss, has balanced modeling engagements with advocacy and public discussion of her condition as she continues to appear at international fashion events. Observers noted the quick turnaround between the Barcelona photocall and the New York party, underscoring the cross-city itineraries common during fashion week season.
