Liam McGough, a contestant from the eighth season of "Big Brother," has shared that he and his wife, Sloane, are expecting their first child. The couple announced they are expecting a baby girl via Instagram on Monday.

McGough, a tree surgeon, posted a series of photos, including one where he cradles Sloane's baby bump. "Huge news!! Biggest ever tbh. Me and Sloane are going to have a baby girl," he wrote in the caption. "It's been so hard to keep it quiet. Even harder for my dad who hasn't managed haha. I found out on day 3 of the fringe. Never felt prouder in my life."

The announcement comes two months after McGough and Sloane were married in New Orleans. He described the wedding as "small and intimate, with only close friends and family," telling The Sun that the ceremony was followed by a "Second Line" celebration with a brass band and a police escort.

McGough, who finished in third place on "Big Brother" in 2007, previously said he felt like the "luckiest guy in the world" after marrying Sloane. The couple became engaged in October of the previous year and met while McGough was on holiday in Texas. After his "Big Brother" fame, McGough spent three years earning money from nightclub appearances before launching his tree surgery business. He also experimented with comedy, performing a show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
