The Summer Program Tour, a bass-heavy concert series by electronic music artists Levity and Tape B, culminated at Brooklyn's Under the K Bridge Park. The final night featured high-energy sets from both artists, culminating in a back-to-back performance that continued into the early morning hours.
The outdoor venue buzzed with energy as attendees, adorned with festival attire and glitter, gathered before sunset. DJ Effin opened the evening with a powerful set of deep dubstep beats. Tape B then took the stage, overcoming an initial technical glitch to deliver a performance featuring fan favorites like "Underneath Your Skin" and "Word Scramble," as well as collaborations with artists such as Zeds Dead and Subtronics. The visuals during Tape B's set included his signature melting tape graphic, creating a psychedelic atmosphere.
Effin later joined Tape B on stage for a few tracks before Tape B announced his upcoming back-to-back set with Levity. Levity's performance began with a theatrical introduction, with words flashing on screen before the trio took the stage. Their set featured hits like "Neon Soul," "By My Side," and a remix of "Hey Jude."
The energy continued as Tape B returned for the final back-to-back set with Levity. The duo incorporated pop-infused tracks, including a rendition of Damian Marley and Skrillex's "Make It Bun Dem" and "Temperature." Despite the lengthy duration of dubstep performances, the crowd remained engaged, with many inquiring about afterparties.
Both Levity and Tape B continued the festivities at an afterparty held at Brooklyn Steel, extending the celebration until the early morning. The tour's closing performance at Under the K Bridge Park highlighted the inclusive and positive culture often associated with dubstep events, characterized by community interaction and shared energy.
