Lea Thompson, the iconic star of the "Back to the Future" trilogy, recently appeared on the red carpet alongside her daughter, Zoey Deutch, at the premiere of "Gail Daughtry and The Celebrity Sex Pass" in Los Angeles. Thompson, 65, was accompanied by Deutch, 31, and Deutch's fiancé, Jimmy Tatro.

Also present at the event was Thompson's husband and Deutch's father, director Howard Deutch, known for his work on films like "Pretty in Pink" and "Some Kind of Wonderful." The couple has been married since 1989. Thompson and Howard Deutch have two daughters, Madelyn, 35, and Zoey, both of whom have pursued careers in the entertainment industry. The family collaborated on the 2017 film "The Year of Spectacular Men," which marked Thompson's directorial debut, with Madelyn writing and starring, and Zoey in a leading role.

Thompson, who portrayed Lorraine Baines-McFly in the "Back to the Future" films, recently reunited with co-star Michael J. Fox at Rhode Island Comic Con in 2024. Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, appeared with other cast members, including Christopher Lloyd and Thomas F. Wilson, for a question-and-answer session about the beloved 1985 film and its sequels. Fox reflected on the film, calling it "one of the few perfect films," while Thompson expressed her initial amazement at the script, believing it was "something special" from the outset.

She further commented that the film's message about the impact of small actions resonates deeply with audiences. Fox and Lloyd's friendship reportedly deepened during the filming of the "Back to the Future" sequel in 1990. Fox publicly shared his Parkinson's diagnosis in 1998, having been diagnosed in 1991.
