Le Creuset has launched a limited-edition Modern Heritage collection to mark its 100th anniversary and is offering discounts on a selection of its enameled cast iron and stoneware.
The Modern Heritage line revisits the brand’s signature silhouettes — including the iconic Dutch oven and braiser — with vintage-inspired details such as scalloped side handles and looped stainless-steel lid handles. Le Creuset describes the pieces as refined, heirloom-quality updates to its classic cookware.
Individual pieces in the new collection include the Modern Heritage round Dutch oven, priced at $420; a Modern Heritage round braiser for $380; and an oval gratin for $160. The braiser is designed with a wide, shallow base for searing and simmering, while the oval gratin is intended to move from oven to table for dishes that benefit from a browned, crispy top.
Alongside the anniversary release, Le Creuset has discounted a range of classic items. A Signature Enameled Cast Iron five-piece set is listed at $574.99, a roughly 30% reduction from an original price of $820; the brand’s Signature Oval Dutch Oven is on sale for $299, about 37% off a listed original of $475. The Signature Round Braiser with a glass lid is marked down to $164.99 from $280, a 41% discount. Stoneware and bakeware discounts include a Heritage Deep Rectangular Lasagna Dish for $99.99 (about 13% off) and a Heritage Bakeware Essentials set at $174.99 (about 21% off).
The brand’s five-piece set is available in several shades ranging from traditional bold colors to softer tones; retailers such as Nordstrom are carrying some sale items. Le Creuset has previously marked milestone occasions with limited color drops and special collections, and the company framed the Modern Heritage release as both a nod to its past and a forward-looking rework of core pieces.
