Layla Taylor, a star of the Hulu series "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," has offered fans a peek at her new girlfriend, sharing a social media video that shows them holding hands. The clip emerged shortly after Taylor publicly came out as bisexual in late June.

In the TikTok video, Taylor's hand is seen intertwined with another woman's, whose face is out of frame but displays a tattooed arm. Taylor captioned the post, "‘You’re glowing lately.’ Thanks I’m dating a woman now.” She further commented, "Chivalry isn’t dead it’s [with] the lesbians.”

Her "SLOMW" co-star Jen Affleck expressed support in a comment, writing, "You look so happy 🥺❤️." Fans also responded positively, with many noting that Taylor appears to be her "authentic happy self."

Taylor officially came out as bisexual on June 29 during an appearance on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast. "I’m gay and I’m bi and date women and men,” she stated during the interview.

She also revealed on the podcast that she was "talking to" a woman she met through Instagram, though she kept the woman's identity private. Taylor described her new interest as "emotionally aware" and "very patient," noting the individual's understanding as she navigates this new phase. "She’s just been very understanding and letting me take this at my own pace because it is just still foreign to me and it is so new. [It’s the] level of understanding and just being there for me,” Taylor said.

Taylor explained that she hadn't formally addressed her identity for a significant period and is now "very proud to be out." She chose not to come out to her "SLOMW" co-stars before the podcast episode aired, preferring to tell them in person. "I feel like I want to see them in person to let them know. So they might see this before and then I’ll talk to them in person the next time I see them,” she explained.

Co-star Miranda McWhorter shared her reaction to Taylor's announcement with Page Six's “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, stating, "I cried when she told me. I was so happy for her.” McWhorter described Taylor as "oozing relief [and] confidence” and “glowing" after coming out.

Taylor was previously married to Clayton Wessel, and they co-parent sons Oliver and Maxwell. Her past relationships with Cameron Jolley and Mason McWhorter were featured on the reality show.
