Layla Taylor, a star of the Hulu series 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,' drew viewer attention and commentary following her latest breast augmentation, revealed in the show's season five premiere. Fans noted that Taylor's implants appeared to sit unusually high on her chest in early season confessional interviews.
Viewers took to social media to express their surprise. One commenter wrote, "I've never seen a pair of [breasts] sit so high up!" Another remarked, "Worst boob job I've ever seen!" while a third user offered a different perspective, stating, "I feel like I'm the only one who's not bothered by how her boobs look. Yes they look like implants and are pushed up, but they're still nothing crazy to me."
Taylor later addressed the public's observations on Instagram, posting a humorous acknowledgment of the appearance of her implants. "Were my boobs closer than the majority of friendships in Momtok season 5? Yes," she wrote. "Were my boobs higher than my faith that Momtok could survive after season 5? Also yes," she added, concluding, "But all things settle down at some point and so did my [breasts]."
The influencer, 25, has been open about her history with cosmetic surgery, which began after her appearance on the first season of 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' in 2024. Her initial procedures included breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, a tummy tuck, chin filler, lip filler, and Botox. Taylor has stated that her decision to undergo surgery stemmed from lifelong body image issues, exacerbated after having children.
"I've dealt with body image issues my whole life," she previously told the Daily Mail. "After having kids and my body changing drastically and I was at a low with self confidence. I wanted to take back my confidence and I knew plastic surgery was one of the only ways I could for myself! I don't think I did anything too crazy, just got my pre-baby body back, minus the nose job, that was purely cosmetic!"
Taylor underwent a breast revision procedure earlier in 2026, shortly before filming for season five commenced. She had expressed dissatisfaction with her previous implants, stating in March, "I've been thinking about getting my boobs redone honestly since I got them. I feel like my boobs have made me unconfident that last year having them because I just feel like they're a lot. So, I'm excited to have more confidence and just feel better in my body."
Previously, Taylor has discussed her past struggles with an eating disorder, which was a topic in season four of the show. She also revealed an incident of misusing GLP-1 medications, which resulted in her weight dropping to 99 pounds. 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' season five is currently available on Hulu.
