Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos were among the star attendees at the Kering Foundation’s 4th Annual Caring For Women Dinner in New York on Thursday, pausing for red-carpet photographs as New York Fashion Week events continued across the city.

Sanchez wore a strapless gold satin gown with a contrasting black train and a low-cut neckline, complemented by a diamond necklace and statement earrings. Bezos wore a classic black tuxedo with a white dress shirt and black bow tie as the couple posed together before the evening’s program.

The dinner is an annual fundraiser co-hosted by Salma Hayek and her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, who is chairman and chief executive of Kering and of the Kering Foundation. Other co-hosts and notable participants at the star-studded event included Jessica Chastain, Madonna, Demi Moore, Colman Domingo and Julianne Moore. According to a Kering Foundation press release, the dinner raises funds for organizations focused on addressing gender-based violence and supporting survivors and their families in achieving financial empowerment and independence.

Sanchez’s appearance came nearly three months after she and Bezos exchanged vows in a high-profile ceremony in Venice that was widely reported to have cost about $50 million and drew numerous A-list guests. Reports at the time said attendees included Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom and Kim Kardashian. The nuptials and related celebrations drew both publicity and criticism from local residents and activists in Venice.

In the weeks since the wedding, Sanchez has maintained a visible public schedule. Earlier in the week she attended a Chanel event in New York, where she wore a white tank top tucked into a flowing black skirt with sheer details. She has also shared personal updates on social media: in recent weeks she posted about dropping her son off at college and reflected publicly on grief after the death of her mother-in-law, Jacklyn Bezos, 78. In an Instagram post following that death, Sanchez wrote that those who are lost "leave us with a quiet instruction… to live with more tenderness, more gratitude, more love." She also posted a short message about "tolerating the unknown" earlier this month without elaboration.

Organizers said the Kering Foundation dinner is intended to pair the fashion world’s visibility with philanthropic goals, directing proceeds to programs that help survivors of gender-based violence secure financial independence. The event has become a regular feature on the Fashion Week calendar, drawing public figures from the arts, film and fashion industries to support the foundation’s partnerships and grant-making programs.
