Production has commenced on Season 3 of Taylor Sheridan's oil industry drama "Landman," with a projected release in mid-to-late 2027. The Paramount+ series recently began filming in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to continue production into early 2027.

The second season finale aired on January 18, 2026, and there will be no further new episodes released in 2026. While an official release date for Season 3 has not yet been announced, the ongoing production indicates a significant wait for new installments.

"Landman" has proven to be a successful series for Paramount+, leading to its renewal for a third season in December 2025. The show's critical and commercial performance has secured its continuation, with star Billy Bob Thornton set to return as Tommy.

Several new cast members and recurring actors have been elevated to series regular status for the upcoming season. Michael Kelly, known for his role in "Lioness," will join the cast as a "titan of industry" leading a major oil management firm. Additionally, Colm Feore (Nathan), Mustafa Speaks (Boss), Bobbi Salvor Menuez (Paigyn Meester), and Francesca Xuereb (Cheyenne) have been promoted to series regulars.

The first two seasons of "Landman" are available for streaming on Paramount+. The service offers two subscription tiers: Essential, which is ad-supported and costs $8.99 per month, and Premium, an ad-free option that includes Showtime titles and live CBS programming for $13.99 per month. Paramount+ can also be accessed through Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and YouTube, with various free trial options available.
