Kyle Sandilands has signaled a definitive end to his professional relationship with former co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson, stating he has "closed the chapter" on their partnership following a significant on-air fallout. The two reportedly have not spoken since a heated exchange in February regarding Henderson's "fixation" on astrology, which led to the cancellation of "The Kyle & Jackie O Show" and their subsequent dismissal from their employer, ARN.

In a trailer for his upcoming documentary, "At Home With Kyle," Sandilands plans to share his perspective on the events that led to their professional separation. "I've sort of had to mostly, in my mind, close that chapter," Sandilands stated in the trailer, shared via his new business Instagram account, Kyle Sandilands Live. He added, "This isn't a taking sides thing. I'll always love her. She's like a sister to me. I wish her the best. The last three months, there is quite a lot to say."

The documentary trailer features news coverage of the pair's on-air dispute and footage of their show being canceled. Sandilands described the situation as having "gotten to the stage where it was dangerous" and expressed a desire to inform the public about "what actually, really happened."

Footage in the trailer includes an ambulance with sirens, Sandilands storming out of a room, and him appearing emotional, stating, "It's not the end of the world. It's just the end of that show." He also reflected on his unexpected dismissal, acknowledging, "I did joke that they could never fire you. And now the joke is on me. Here I am. F***ing fired."

Sandilands is actively rebuilding his media presence with "Kyle Sandilands Live," a new subscription program set to launch on August 10. He has appointed Jaimee 'Mayo' Blazquez, a former staffer from "The Kyle & Jackie O Show," as the executive producer for his new venture. Blazquez shared her excitement on Instagram, noting her nine years of working with Sandilands. The appointment is part of Sandilands' strategy to surround himself with his former team members, many of whom were also made redundant after the show's cancellation. He cited guilt and a desire to support his crew as reasons for rehiring them.

"At Home With Kyle" is a six-episode series produced by Sandilands' own production company. His manager, Bruno Bouchet, has indicated that the series will offer a more "humble" and rarely seen side of Sandilands. The subscription-based show is advertised as having no ads or censorship. Sandilands' legal dispute with ARN reportedly concluded with him receiving $12.09 million of an initial $85 million claim.
