Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky appeared together at their daughter Alexia Umansky’s wedding Saturday, setting aside the tensions that have marked their public split to watch the couple exchange vows.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 56, and the real estate executive, 55, stood near one another outside Los Angeles as Alexia married Jake Zingerman in an outdoor ceremony. Photos and short videos posted on Alexia’s Instagram showed family members and guests cheering as the newlyweds celebrated, and captured Richards and Umansky joining a traditional Hora dance and laughing together on the dance floor.
The guest list included several public figures and family members. Teddi Mellencamp, Richards’s friend who is managing treatment for Stage 4 cancer, attended, as did Nicky Hilton. Alexia, reportedly 29, is one of four daughters Richards and Umansky share; their other children are Farrah, 36, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17.
The reunion stood in contrast to recent public encounters between Richards and Umansky. In July, the couple were photographed at a café appearing tense and distant during a meeting that drew attention and speculation. The pair announced their separation in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage but, as of this month, have not filed for divorce.
Richards has faced ongoing tabloid attention over alleged romantic links to country singer Morgan Wade. The reality star appeared in Wade’s 2023 music video for "Fall in Love with Me," and outlets have reported persistent dating rumors since. Richards has not been publicly seen on dates amid that coverage. Umansky has been photographed with several women since the split, including models reported in the media as Nikita Kahn and Klaudia K.
Producers and fans have also watched Richards’s role on television. Andy Cohen, the creator and executive producer behind Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, said in June on the podcast Jenna & Friends that Richards would return for season 15, adding that newcomers and returning cast members would include Rachel Zoe, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John, Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton. Richards addressed one incoming cast member in August on Amazon Live, saying she has known Zoe for years and that they are on good terms.
Alexia and Zingerman’s ceremony provided a public moment of unity for a family that has been under intense scrutiny. Photos and video shared by the couple’s social accounts emphasized celebration and family as guests danced and embraced. Representatives for Richards and Umansky did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The couple’s decision to attend the wedding together follows a pattern in which public events have brought them into a shared space since their separation was announced. For now, those moments of cooperation at family gatherings remain separate from the unresolved legal status of their marriage, as no divorce filings have been reported.
