New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby is set to make a guest appearance on CBS' crime procedural "Elsbeth" for its fourth season. The announcement follows the Knicks' NBA Finals victory, where Anunoby played a significant role in securing the championship.
Anunoby's acting foray comes as teammate Jalen Brunson is also expected to appear on a New York-based crime drama, with "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star Mariska Hargitay confirming that Brunson is slated for a cameo on that show. The date and episode details for Anunoby's "Elsbeth" appearance have not yet been disclosed.
This marks Anunoby's second television acting credit. He previously made a cameo appearance on Apple TV's "Your Friends and Neighbors," alongside NBA podcaster Zach Lowe and sports host Rachel Nichols.
The 2025-26 Knicks secured their first NBA championship in 53 years, defeating the San Antonio Spurs in five games. Anunoby was instrumental in the team's playoff run, including a game-winning tip-in in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, while Brunson was named Finals MVP.
"Elsbeth" stars Carrie Preston as Elsbeth Tascioni, an "astute but unconventional attorney" who partners with the NYPD to solve crimes. Other announced guest stars for the upcoming season include Nicole Scherzinger, Nicholas Braun, and Jemima Kirke.
