Kimberly Guilfoyle drew fresh scrutiny after posting photos of a biker-style outfit from an event in Washington, D.C., over the weekend, with several followers on social media criticizing what they described as an overly augmented appearance, particularly around her lips.
The 56-year-old former news personality shared images from the U.S. launch of GB News, posing with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, British politician Nigel Farage and others. In the photos, Guilfoyle wore a cropped leather biker jacket with silver zipper detailing over a silky black top featuring a thick choker neckline, paired with black pants and long, dark hair styled down. She completed the look with a smoky eye and a neutral lip.
On Instagram, several commenters focused on her lips. "Girl, stop with the lips! Nooooo," one wrote. Another said, "Too much lips!" and a separate user asked, "Wonder if they'll ever ban Botox?" Some critics used the term "Mar-a-Lago face," a phrase applied by commentators to public figures close to former President Donald Trump who have been the subject of plastic surgery speculation. Other followers defended her appearance, with comments such as "Absolutely gorgeous you're beautiful" and "You're gorgeous Kimberly!"
Guilfoyle has not publicly addressed the recent comments about her appearance. The Daily Mail, which published the images, reported it had reached out for comment.
Allegations about cosmetic procedures are not new for Guilfoyle. Last April, Dr. Joel Kopelman, a plastic surgeon in New York City, told the Daily Mail that some features in recent photographs could be the result of Botox and fillers. Kopelman said overuse or misplacement of Botox can cause brow-drooping and asymmetry and that excessive fillers can produce an overfilled or puffy look. He suggested her cheeks and lips "appear to have been augmented significantly, possibly crossing the line into 'too much.'" Guilfoyle has not confirmed or denied having any procedures.
The recent images follow renewed attention to older photographs of Guilfoyle that resurfaced on Reddit, including a 2004 modeling-style shot in which she wore a shorter hairstyle and minimal makeup. Those pictures were circulated by social media users comparing her past and present looks.
Guilfoyle, who was once engaged to Donald Trump Jr. and was married to California Governor Gavin Newsom from 2001 to 2006, has remained a visible figure in conservative media and political circles. Public reactions to celebrity appearances frequently prompt discussion about cosmetic treatments, but such commentary can include a range of views from critique to praise.
The Instagram post and the ensuing response highlight ongoing public interest in the appearance of high-profile media figures and the broader debate over cosmetic procedures. Guilfoyle's updated look and the resurfacing of older photographs have continued to draw attention as the conversation unfolds on social platforms.
